Care & Maintenance
Keep your Grand 300™ performing beautifully
A little regular care helps maintain strong, consistent atomisation and keeps your waterless diffuser performing at its best. Here's everything you need to know.
Simple care. Consistent scent.
Unlike a traditional water diffuser, the Grand 300™ atomises fragrance oil directly. Over time, small amounts of oil can naturally collect within the atomiser and dip-tube system. Regular maintenance helps prevent this build-up before it affects fragrance output.
Keep it upright
Always keep the Grand 300 level, particularly while fragrance oil is installed. Avoid tilting or carrying it with oil inside.
Use the right oils
Use fragrance oils specifically suitable for waterless diffusers. Never add water, soap or ordinary perfume.
Keep the outlet clean
Occasionally wipe visible fragrance residue from around the atomiser outlet using a soft, dry cloth.
Keep your empty bottle
The spare bottle is useful for periodic IPA cleaning cycles and for testing our 15ml Discovery Set fragrances.
The 15-minute IPA cleaning cycle
This simple routine helps dissolve fragrance-oil residue inside the atomiser before it begins to restrict mist output.
Remove your fragrance
Switch the diffuser off. Place the magnetic key against the right-hand side beside the top section to release the bottle and atomiser assembly.
Add a little IPA
Add a small amount of 91–95% IPA to the spare empty bottle — only enough for the dip tube to comfortably draw from.
Run for 15 minutes
Install the bottle and temporarily create a programme in the NOBL app with an approximately 15-minute Work period before pausing.
Allow it to air
Remove the IPA bottle after the cleaning cycle and allow the atomiser to air naturally for a few minutes.
Reinstall your oil
Refit your NOBL fragrance bottle or other compatible waterless diffuser oil, then restore your normal schedule.
When should I clean my Grand 300?

For regular household use, a preventative IPA cycle every one to two months is a simple way to help maintain consistent atomisation.

Full-size NOBL oils fit straight in
Our 200ml fragrance bottles are designed to fit directly into the Grand 300™. There is no need to repeatedly pour fragrance between bottles.
Use the magnetic key against the right side of the diffuser beside the top section to release the bottle and atomiser assembly. Remove the existing bottle, fit your new NOBL 200ml bottle, and reinstall the assembly.
Typically around 2–3 months depending on settings and usage.
Swap full-size NOBL bottles within seconds.
Perfect for IPA maintenance and 15ml Discovery Set oils.
Care & maintenance FAQs
Do I need to clean the Grand 300 every time I change fragrance?
Not necessarily, but an IPA cycle is useful when switching between noticeably different fragrances and helps minimise temporary scent mixing.
Can I use water to clean the atomiser?
No. The Grand 300 is a waterless diffuser. Do not run water or soap through the atomiser. For internal cleaning, use 91–95% isopropyl alcohol as described above.
Is a little oil residue around the atomiser normal?
A very light film can occasionally settle around the outlet. Significant pooling, dripping or repeated leakage is not expected and should be reported to NOBL Support.
What should I do if the diffuser is running but there is no mist?
Check the oil level and dip tube first, then inspect the atomiser with the fan temporarily switched Off. If output remains weak, run the 15-minute IPA cycle. If that does not restore output, contact us.
Can the Grand 300 stay plugged in?
Yes. The Grand 300 is designed around automatic schedules. Once your programme is saved, it can remain plugged in and will operate only during the scheduled times.
What happens if the oil runs out?
We recommend checking the bottle periodically rather than intentionally running the diffuser empty for extended periods. You will normally notice fragrance output becoming much weaker or stopping when the bottle is empty.
Still having trouble?
If you've completed the checks above and your Grand 300 still isn't performing as expected, get in touch. If possible, include a short video of the diffuser operating and a photo of the atomiser/nozzle and dip tube — this often helps us diagnose the issue quickly.
